Acne Jeans presents a new style under a title which could be deduced from gender (the cultural definition of man and woman) or even generate (which means "bring to existence"): GENERIC. Therefore the team of the founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson took the old-fashioned work wear trousers and made of exclusive Japanese denim loose cut and yellow stitched new ones with a timeless appeal.
‘Acne Jeans Generic look as if a five-year old had sat down and drawn a pair of jeans, they are as standard and basic as one can get in today’s world of a million possibilities.’ says Jonny Johansson, Acne Jeans Creative Director.
These jeans are on the one hand "generic" in the meaning of "common", and at the same time they offer the best material to tell your own, personal story.
