Weapons of Love

The German manufacturer bruno banani entitles one of the new collections "Peace Camp". The limited edition of the peace pieces was presented by a coffee-table catalogue with the peace dove on the cover. The introducing words make you understand the models' flower prints and peace symbols: "We are convinced of it: peace is possible. Throughout the world. After all, when people meet in the spirit of love, there is no room for war....".

The 60s/70s "Make Love No War" styles can be found in women's and men's collections:

Women's underwear> thin gold pinstripes on dark fabric have an elegant aura and are in direct contrast to the flamboyant leopard looks and fine netted textures with appliquéd felt dots in a 1960’s look. One of the allover prints uses a design with dots and circles reminiscent of stylised lamps in 1970’s nightclubs.

Men's active wear> the styles reminiscent of 1970’s tracksuits. The “Free Woodstock” model (<image), an element of the upcoming bruno banani Peace Camp campaign, points the way to “world peace” with its peace symbol. This model can be worn as sleepwear!
