Danica Patrick for Tissot
spring/summer 2008
“Drive like you have something to prove every time”
Danica Patrick, IndyCar driver
In 2008 Tissot presents a limited edition of 4,999 numbered pieces with a special design inspired by IndyCar driver Danica Patrick: a woman who competes successfully in the man’s world of motorsport is the theme of this watch. In 2007 Danica Patrick had 11 top-ten placements, finishing twice on two occasions.
The Tissot PRC 100 Danica Patrick Limited Edition mirrors the key requirements of the competitive environment:
The white watch with diamonds is framed in an angular case that makes a dynamic impression. Engraved on the case back are both Danica’s signature and the limited edition number, all kept in position by six flying stars.
Rows of sparkling Top Wesselton diamonds around the mother-of-pearl dial replace the digits. There are three at every hour, except at 6 o’clock where one diamond drops off the lower chronograph disc.
The model designation is marked on the dial in blue, picking up the colouring of Danica’s uniform. Its strap is sculptured white rubber with the Tissot ‘T’ integrated expressing the comfort and lightness of sports equipment.
