VAUDE - Packs´n Bags
at the 9th UN Conference on Biological Diversity

The German mountain sports supplier Vaude will provide conference participants at the 9th UN Conference on Biological Diversity with 7000 conference bags made from recycled PET bottles.

“We wish to actively contribute to sustainability in the world, and we're very pleased to be able to partake in the UN Conference on Biological Diversity with our bags,“ Antje von Dewitz, Vaude Marketing Director.

The idea to design a sustainable conference bag for the 7000 participants is part of the environmental concept of the organisers of the UN conference. The German Environment Ministry (BMU) assigned for this environmental concept the Eco-Institute (Öko-Institut). The Eco-Institute surveyed various manufacturers to find an attractive, high quality and environmentally friendly conference bag produced by a company with high social standards.
