On occasion of the World Environment Day on 5th June 2009, the homeshop La Redoute presented t-shirts for women and men, created by the La Redoute employees themselves. The two creations had been selected in an internal competition. On the same day the movie 'Home' directed and photographed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, produced and co-directed by Luc Besson, and financed François-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of the PPR Group (La Redoute, Boucheron, Gucci, Sergio Rossi, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Puma, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta...) was released in over 50 countries in movie theatres, on TV, DVD and Internet. The total purchase goes to the organisation GoodPlanet www.goodplanet.org, founded by the movie director Yann Arthus-Bertrand.LA REDOUTE

fig.: 'Change your Future' t-shirt for women and teens, design by Lydie Pavard, employed at La Redoute. The design competition was about the creation of t-shirt illustrations which make aware of the vulnerability of the earth. A percentage of the purchase of each shirt will go to GoodPlanet.

"It's Too Late To Be A Pessimist"
In the movie you can see the landscapes of 54 countries captured from above. Yann Arthus-Bertrand has took a journey around the planet to make a movie about four billion years of evolution. Since 200,000 years, humanity is a new factor which has to be balanced by Earth...

The movie will provoke that we are thinking about a change of our patterns of consumption.
