The campaign video for the 'Nike+ SportWatch GPS' powered by TomTom is made in the style of a manual which introduces into the watch functionalities like tracking information (time, distance, pace, calories, etc), or connecting via Nike+Maps Beta with running indicators of other community members from nikeplus.com, view routes from the perspective where others ran fastest or slowest, find popular areas to run, upload personal routes to the Nike+ community...

Runners' watch connected to online

On 15 July 2011, Nike launched in Germany its new sport watch with GPS system by car navigation provider TomTom. The watch from the Nike+ FW2011/12 collection is equipped with an user-interface that enables runners to connect to information that is provided by the internet and its running users.

A chip in the sport shoe delivers trainings data to the GPS of the watch, which can be uploaded to the internet for the optimization of the personal training.

Nike+ community members are enriching since 2006 nikeplus.com with information from more than 100 million runs; even with routes alongside points of interests for 'sight-seeing'-runners.

fig.: US athlete Ashton Eaton, he is currently the heptathlon (combines disciplines running, throwing, jumping) world record holder, with 'Nike+ SportWatch GPS'. Even several Apple products like iPod nano and iPod touch from the Nike+ iPod Sport Kit or the Nike+ GPS App for iPhones enable Nike+ training.
