PIERRE HERMÉ
2008

... makes sweet art pieces.

"He is often asked where and how he gets his ideas for taste, texture and flavor combinations, these
tasty creations that make up his brand and are recognizable among a thousand. He willingly answers… inspiration comes from his weakness for sweets, pleasure, sensations, encounters, fragrances and textures.
" Charles Znaty about Pierre Hermé who invented the “Pâtisserie Haute-Couture” concept.

Pierre Hermé's “Collection” idea became at first in Japan popular.
In the first months of 2008 Pierre Hermé created the "Macaron Haute-Couture", a tailor made macaron. Since this year you can buy even from Europe the sweet art pieces online > www.pierreherme.com

At the end of 1996, he started Pierre Hermé Paris® with his business partner Charles Znaty. Their first shop opened in Tokyo in 1998, followed by a Salon de Thé in July 2000. In 2001, Pierre Hermé returned to the gourmet scene in Paris and opened his pastry shop at 72 rue Bonaparte in the Saint Germain des Prés area.

In 2004, a second shop featuring very innovative interior design opened at 185 rue de Vaugirard, and a training workshop was established in cooperation with the reputed Ecole Ferrandi run by the Paris Chamber of Commerce.

In early 2005, the latest concepts from Pierre Hermé Paris were launched in Tokyo: a "luxury convenience store" and a Chocolate Bar. Both are located in the Omotesando district, where the biggest fashion brands and companies operating in Japan have stores.

At the end of 2007, Pierre Hermé Paris owns seven sales outlets in Tokyo.
