fig.: Ski jumper Gregor Schlierenzauer and Alpine ski racer Anna Fenninger, two of four ski athletes selected by fans for the annual 'Goldene Teekanne'-awards, on the way to the trophy handover on 10 October 2013 at the railway station Westbahnhof in Vienna. The trophies are golden tea pots; on view on Teekanne's Facebook page photo with all four winners and an interactive Q&A app for fans who are keen about answers from their favorite athletes - perhaps a question concerning their opinion about the new racing suits?

Question: What's the difference between ratings in fashion and sport?

Answer: Fashion is measured by personal taste and can be discussed subjectively while sport performances (like ski jumping or Alpine skiing) are rated after objective criteria and measured by technical instruments.

On 10 October 2013, the Austrian ski team traveled with the public train service ÖBB (video below) to Vienna and presented the new racing suits at the city's main railway station Westbahnhof. The Austrian division of tea label 'Teekanne' (means translated from German 'tea pot') sent some photos from the sports fashion presentation together with information about this year's winners of the 'Goldene Teekanne' awards. Two of the four winners - Gregor Schlierenzauer and Anna Fenninger, are on view on this page. The two belong to the best ski athletes worldwide and received the golden tea pot trophies for the most votes by fans for 'popularity'.

Teekanne is one of the main sponsors of the Austrian ski team which starts on 26 October 2013 at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Opening in Sölden into the new season.

The video shows the Austrian ski athletes on their ÖBB-train travel and at the Westbahnhof in Vienna, 10 October 2013.
