The Art to be a Star

Maria Callas will be portrayed in this exhibition through her most important roles like i.e. La Traviata, Tosca, Medea, Norma and her personification of Medea in Pasolini's film.

Callas played Norma around 90 times. Maria Callas described her personality analog to the role. Norma seems to be strong, sometimes brutal - but she is a lamb which cries like a lion.

1977 Maria Callas died in Paris. more culture >>>
