The water and waves of the Océan in white gold, diamonds, and blue sapphires

...in a creation by the French Haute Joaillerie house Van Cleef & Arpels and inspired by Charlene on occasion of her marriage with Albert in Monaco (2 July 2011).

The Océan jewellery will be shown at the 'L'Histoire du Mariage Princier'-exhibition from 9 July until end of November 2011 at the Musée Océanographique de Monaco.

Van Cleef & Arpels weighs water with precious stones - and a lot of them! The Océan necklace is made of 883 round-cut diamonds, weighing a total of over 44 carats; 10 pear-cut diamonds, weighing a total of over 4 carats; 359 round-cut sapphires for over a total of 18 carats, in a color gradation of 3 hues...
