Memories of former Viennese citizens

On 27 June 2012, the iPad, iPhone application for the multi-media documentary 'heim.at.home' (project by Dr. Diana Gregor) about 10 Austrian Holocaust survivors who are living in New York was launched at the Jewish Museum Vienna. The 10 men and women are representatives for a whole generation of victims. The survivors are talking in the interviews about their former home Vienna - a memory which ranges from the experience of happy moments to violence and brutality.

The heim.at.home project "...arose on the basis of the realization that the future is about active recollection." states the Jewish Museum Vienna on jmw.at. Until 11 July, visitors have the chance to view the interviews on iPads at the museum.
