Peaches' music & movie package at Sundance London in April 2013
On 26 April 2013, the musician and filmmaker Peaches will perform live at the Sundance London - Film and Music Festival 2013 (25 - 28 April). On the same day, her transsexual rock opera film 'Peaches Does Herself' premieres in UK.
In April, the second Sundance London Film and Music Festival 2013 will continue the 2012 program with focus on independent filmmakers and the exploration of the interplay between film and music with 18 feature films and nine short films. Ten of the films are by female filmmakers. The screenings are accompanied by live music performances, panels and events.
Robert Redford, founder and president of the non-profit Sundance Institute, said, "We would hope for Sundance London to be another 'Sundance' experience – lively, culturally relevant and fun. We look forward to engaging with audiences as we discover new voices, new points of view and new perspectives."
The story of the movie 'Peaches Does Herself' is about the pathway of a musician who is inspired by a sixty-five-year-old stripper and the musician's love affair with a she-male. When her heart gets broken she becomes aware who she really is. 'Peaches Does Herself' can be viewed on 26 and 27 April in London (screening dates). Sundance offers tickets for the music night or the film screening only, or the package music & movie.
