Keanu Reeves' suit by Luca Mosca in the upcoming movie 'John Wick'

On 13 October 2014 the movie 'John Wick' premiered in New York; the release will start in the next days in several countries like Czech Republic (23 October), US (24 October), etc; German language countries in January 2015 (release dates).

Forbes named it in a review "one of the best action films of the year"; but what interests Fashionoffice at the visually appealing movie are the costumes which are on view at the trailer; especially the suit of actor Keanu Reeves (plays John Wick). Costume designer of the action movie 'John Wick' is Luca Mosca (known for his work for '21', 'Vantage Point'). The Italian worked as fashion designer before he started his career in film. The suit of John Wick is incorporated into the movie for transporting grief and spirituality. Luca Mosca tailored the suit in a timeless fashion just like "a sort of uniform to be worn almost throughout the entire movie" explains the costume designer (source: production notes). Keanu Reeves says that Luca Mosca "...gave the clothing so much subtle meaning. All the different shades of black that Luca used gave it a lot of overtones. It's funereal and it's priestly. It's also very chic, but it doesn't call attention to itself. When I put the suit on, it definitely affects me."
