Levinthal’s handsome Polaroids feature vintage toy figures of baseball legends including Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, and Joe DiMaggio in signature poses. The artist designed stadium sets to provide an atmospheric background for these icons of popular culture. We are happy to celebrate the completion of this landmark series with the release of a limited edition cibachrome of Babe Ruth in his famous ‘home run pose’.

Levinthal is an internationally renowned pioneer of the Fabrication movement in photography whose works are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, NY, the National Museum of American Art, Washington, DC, the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY, the Brooklyn Museum, NY, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY, Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris, France, Eurostar, Graz, Austria, the Eileen and Peter Norton Collection, Santa Monica, CA, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA.
