Senses & Sentiments of Dress Symposium "The
Senses & Sentiments of Dress Symposium" will present current
research about dress and its worldwide impact by speakers from USA and
Europe. Dr. Joanne B. Eicher is a central figure of this symposium.
She teaches at the University and works on research projects and serve
as Editor-in Chief for a ten-volume World Encyclopedia of Dress and
Adornment for Routledge to be published between 2007 and 2012 and as
Dress, Body, Culture editor for Berg Publishers. Dr. Eicher's work is
so interesting, because she sees dress as an exploration of all of our
