ESMOD celebrates

Each year Esmod celebrates Sainte Catherine, patron saint of the French Haute Couture. The runway collection is inspired by the theme of Catherine of Alexandria, died in Egypt around 310. She is represented with a (broken) wheel (Catherine was martyred on a spiked wheel which broke - it is also called the Catherine Wheel), a sword (she was beheaded), and a book (she argued against 50 philosophers).
