Launched in February 2007 by Los Angeles-based Michael Azria and Derek Mosher, Snooze City Designs introduces “bed art” with silk-screened pillowcases. On the recently launched website www.aperfectthing.com the two creatives collect a variety of artwork from select artists, as well as gadgets and furniture.

Michael Azria, 32, studies acting at the UCLA Film School and has since appeared in various television series such as Judging Amy and CSI, as well as multiple national television advertising campaigns.

Derek Mosher, 30, is a graduate of FIDM, the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. After holding positions at fashion companies (Kenneth Cole, Theory, Ben Sherman U.K. and BCBGMAXAZRIA) while living in LA, New York, and Paris. After starting his career sales Derek found more of his calling in product development, this in turn started his travels to factories and fabric shows from Milan to Hong kong and from Peru to Portugal.
