Cyber Fashion

From 2nd to 5th October 2008 Maiden-Art designers Maristella Colombo & Gabriele Negri present the new spring/summer 2009 collection of clothing and accessories inspired by luxury streetwear and by conceptual art under the title "We are all Industrial Humanoids" at the Rendez-Vous Femme in Paris.


The collection's concept

"... comes from the idea of a new post industrial era when men and women become humanoids, half human and half machine/robots in a surreal and alien landscape. Our oneiric travellers go around in a virtual reality made of electric propulsions, bits, sharp and digital sounds always in contrast between real and unreal.

You will find jumpsuit, leather dress, sweaters, hoodies, t-shirts ... in black, white, crimson red, grey and electric blue with silkscreen printed retro graphics inspired by 80s computers style.

The Accessoiries Collection

For the clothing pieces the designers have created perfectly fitting accessories such as leather clutches and shopper bags with silkscreen prints, silver, plastic and leather jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, cufflinks and keychains, pendants).

Highlight of the accessories collection is the usb robot pendrive necklace with some original songs composed & produced by Maiden- Art. The collections are made for women and men.
