MIZZO at the TheRedFlag Pop-Up-Store@Ludwig Beck

Until 25 September 2008 airbrush artist Mizzo will present her work on occasion of the pre-premiere of Munich's new fashion platform "TheRedFlag" in an exhibition about design and art in a pop-up-store at Ludwig Beck.

TheRedFlag is a new feature of the Munich Fashion Fair with focus on fashion which is inspired by design, art, sport, and music. The pop-up store is the pre-premiere of the new platform which will open at Munich's Fashion Fair in summer 2009.

At the pop-up store you can find some interesting artists/designers such as the Swiss photographers "fotosolar“ who present fashion in a new context; or the Munich artist "Styleclicker" who captures fashion and style with his camera while walking on the street; bags by Thomas Heumann's label „Le Chateau En Couleur“ ...

The Art of Mizzo

Highlight of this exhibition is the work by Mizzo, born as Myriam Gämperli in Switzerland. She paints her art on helmets, shoes, furniture, walls, skiers, skateboards,... and creates showrooms for fashion labels.

You will find out, that Mizzo uses the motif of a sexy girl in 70ies style as well as a comic figure which could be the grand daughter of Betty Boop - this figure is at the time fragile and a femme fatale ... Check out Mizzo's art work www.mizzo.ch.
