Kunie Usuki's movie-tip in July 2008

Kunie Usuki is the founder and director of Japan’s largest international art event, Design Festa (founded 1994) and Design Festa Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. She is well known for her independent character and distinctive style. Through her work with Design Festa she has access to some of the world’s up-and-coming artists including fashion designers.

Kunie Usuki' s favorite movie is Liliana Cavani's "Il Portiere di notte" (1974)

Costume Design by Piero Tosi (born 10 April 1927). The Italian Piero Tosi is awarded with 5 Oscar nominations and has won more than 10 prizes for his work with directors such as Visconti, Pasolini, Zeffirelli, ....

In 2003 he was the first designer who received the President's Award by the Costume Designers Guild.
