Interactive created earth-friendly bags for riding on your bike, ...

In November 2008 Texas based SNAPZbags introduces a new line of earth-friendly (PVC-free and non-toxic materials) backpacks and messenger bags which you can individually create online. By using the special "SNAPZ" system on their website you can find perfectly fitting accessories such as coin purses, pencil bags, cosmetic bags, cell phone pockets or removable laptop cases for the inner panel.

The messenger bags and backpacks are available with add-on's such as interchangeable straps and front pockets. The removable and interchangeable components enable you to change the look of the bag to match an outfit or need.

“I wanted to design a fashionable bag with clean lines that could be built to the shopper’s taste while using materials that are both animal and earth-friendly. SNAPZbags are made of clear and solid polyurethane, which is the non-toxic alternative to the more commonly used PVC. We have also chosen not to use real leather or real fur,” Judy Clark, SNAPZbags’ president and creative director.

“We believe it is extremely important to offer a complete signature bag line here in America that is fashionable, functional, and can also meet many safety requirements. Many students and retail employees are required to carry clear bags, but we wanted to design something that people would want to carry regardless of requirements,” Nathan Clark, SNAPZbags’ vice president.
