Video: ‚Mit dem Kopf durch die Wand’ (transl. 'With the head through the wall') by Ohrbooten.

Song in Gyp-Hop style by the Berlin band Ohrbooten about having a revolutionary mind and going with the head through the wall. The video for the newest single of the band is directed by Martin Zillmann.

Gyp-Hop is a word creation by Ohrbooten and means that different music styles from gypsy, hip-hop, jazz, techno, reggae… are combined.

The texts of the band are politically critical. In 'Politix' they are singing about the difficulty to choose a political party (you can hear it on Ohrbooten's MySpace-page). Another song is 'Bild dir deine Meinung' - means as much as 'Make up your own opinion'; it is a call up to reflect the messages transported by advertising and journalism (www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSa3Oul0-Es). Some weeks before the election in German (27 Sept 2009), Ohrbooten have released the new album „Gyp Hop" (28 August 2009) as well as the new single 'Mit dem Kopf durch die Wand' (transl. 'With the head through the wall').

The last concert in September 2009 was on 5th in Berlin. Ohrbooten are touring in October, November, December 2009 through Germany, Switzerland and Austria http://ohrbooten.de/.
