My interest in fashion began in South Africa, where there is many different cultural groups that wear a diversity of clothes. The different ethnic groups have there own unique way of wearing clothes on a individual basis. There is also a different divide in the classes, some groups in what they are able to afford, and also what the relationships are involved between the sexes. Some people to follow trend would make
there own clothes, something that I have often done. I had been doing
some home sewing on domestic London is such an eye opener on fashion and style. The differ aces of the different ethnic groups work on an international scale, has made London so interesting. I have always loved the ifferent styles of dressing, It has always been the diversity that has made me interested in fashion. I like they way that people dress on there on individual bases e.g. the gothic look, the rave look, the English country look etc. I am entering the competition as it is
a challenge to design something unusual, the brief is interesting on using
the underwear as part of the design idea. I would like to resume studies
as there is so much I would like to learn. I have only entered one competition
with the sun news paper, which I won. |
