If you look closely there are little details within the fabric patterns that show creativity from beyond. The lingerie does represent "classic" patterns and Mozart is classic. I enjoy the way my eyes don't have to look all over the place, whereas Hiller's drawings are too busy. I am really impressed with the spectrums and spots of light within the art and the models are beautiful. This designer is extremely talented. I would purchase the works of art to hang on my wall. 2006-06-28 00:52:05 Cristina Valls While I like several of the other sketches more than those of Christina Valis, I would have to say she most closely followed the theme of the competition as stated. Mme. de Pompadour was a woman of very quiet, understated elegance. Her good taste was a bit hyper femminine, but never overtly sexy or daring. While the whole Mozart date scenario is pretty unlikely, these designs also show the designer taking the trouble to tie in the most famous keyboard player-composer of the late 18th century by including variations on a simple keyboard design theme. So while I personally enjoy the more "out there" designs, they simply do not fulfil the stated design assignment half as well.
