Unstructured time

For spring/summer 2009 Burberry's head designer Christopher Bailey has 'stirred up' the timeline for enjoying the freedom of being not chained up by time. His collection reflects the world of the outerwear specialist (since 1856) Burberry.

You will find much romance in this collection which appears at the first sight hard rocking and earthy. The raincoats in classic trench coats style come in neutral earth shades with accents of pop colours reflecting a garden coming to life, the metallic jewellery is mixed with acrylic floral pieces such as necklaces featuring fantastic flowers in a soft colour palette of mushroom, sapphire, dark slate blue...

The 60ies, 80ies, 90ies ... - the time is not bonded in this collection by head designer Christopher Bailey who created silhouettes which are celebrating the 'unstructured' with loose capes and pieces with unstructured tailoring.
