Early spring fashion inspired by hip-hop culture

...presented in January 2014 by Tally Weijl for Early Spring 2014. Fashionoffice selected three outfits from the label's new collection: one is sportier with a touch of avantgarde streetwear (right) and two outfits show a comfortable country-hippie-sports mix (below). The bandana is this season's central Tally Weijl accessory; it runs like a red thread in black/white through the lookbook. The brand sent even some notes about the inspiration for the 'Modern Day Fashion': the American West-Coast and its hip-hop culture are the sources for a new streetwear look which is mixed up with hippie-styles.

fig. right: From the 'Flashback to the 90s' looks for Early Spring 2014 by Tally Weijl: bandana, sporty dress and rucksack-bag; (the price of all three items makes around 54.- Euros).

fig.: below left: Jeans in loose fit, top in hippie style and sneakers (in sum around 80.- Euros) in 'Farmer Style'. Below right: short black skirt with green leaves combined with sports jacket embellished with black metallic stars and sleeves in leather-like material (both cost around 67.- Euros). All pieces from the Early Spring 2014 collection by Tally Weijl.
